Tablescape: Summer Bar Cart

We love the spontaneity of summer. When the days are longer, their is nothing sweeter then taking a night stroll after work, walking to dinner, watching the sunset or having friends over for an impromptu dinner. Keeping a well-stocked bar is essential during the summer. You never know when a friend may drop by for a drink.

This week's tablescape is the perfect, everyday bar for summer.

Neither of us are bourbon drinkers, but Blanton's Bourbon is kind of like a piece of art (the label, the bottle, and the racehorse cork)...and since we are all about "what catches the eye," this bottle seemed like the perfect fit for the everyday bar. Here is a round up of a few other favorite bar essentials:

Obsession of the week: The HIGH ball

the HIGH ball
Gold Striped, Vita, Pop Highball, Corinne Highball, Charleston Highball, Northern Hemisphere

To say I have an obsession with glasses would be an understatement.  I change out my DOF (double old fashion), water, wine, and champagne glasses to match the occasion. I love all of these high ball glasses because they can be used in different settings.  Bring out the Jonathan Adler Pop high ball for girls' night, and switch to the fancy but fun Vita when celebrating! I would buy a set of each if my wallet and house could handle it! Cheers!
