Good Morning…and hi! It has been awhile since we have had some consistent blog posts. I guess you could say, the holidays got the best of us! Christmas and New Years came and went and then we headed to Atlanta for Mart. These last few weeks have been a bit of whirlwind, but we are back and in full swing! To catch you all up, I thought we would start with a little weekend recap.
Leslie and her husband took their annual ski trip to Vail! They stayed in a house with friends and hit the slopes daily!

My husband and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary and took a trip to where it all began, Blackberry Farm. It is truly magical and obviously the food is out of this world. You literally finish one meal and start looking forward to the next.

On our way back to Charleston, we took a little side trip to Asheville and stayed at the Grand Bohemian Hotel. The interiors were so fun (think ski lodge meets trendy New York hotel), that I couldn't stop snapping photos.
Lots of fun light fixtures at the restaurant connected to the hotel. I loved these "red nest" chandeliers that they had lined up in the entrance!
I have been on a aubergine/velvet kick recently, so this was just too good to pass up!
