Inspiration: The "Game Room"

We all love a family game room. You know the ones filled with Yahtzee, Sorry and the ever popular, Monopoly. However, these days, the game room is taking on a different form....a very different form. You are probably already rolling your eyes because you are expecting us to shower you with images of 8 point deer heads and oversized bear rugs...WRONG! That was the Game Room of the 1900s. We are talking about the game room of today... it features artistic, sculptural pieces like the ones below.

It is safe to say, we are animal obsessed! Animal heads come in a variety of colors (neon, gold, matte, etc) and textures (ceramic, wood, cardboard, etc), horns are dip dyed, skulls are leafed in gold. It is an exciting time and clearly we are on board with this fad. So, jump on the animal train. Who knows? The modern game room may just be the place where your family gathers to play a competitive game of Monopoly amongst the papier mache animals.
