Fab Friday: Cocktail Hour

As we begin to transition from Summer to Fall, and the days begin to become shorter and cooler, we thought we would help you prepare for this transition with High Tea, a cocktail! The recipe for High Tea was adopted from Southern Cocktails by Denise Gee. If you don't own this little gem of a book, you can find it here. I received it as a graduation gift from college and it has become my "go to" for easy entertaining recipes.

High Tea is the southern twist on Long Island iced tea. It is sweet tea with lemon-infused rum and a lemon wedge.

High Tea and Nickel Plated Tray (found here)

Here is the recipe:
2 oz. Lemon-Infused Rum
2 oz. Chilled Sweet Tea
Lemon Wedge (garnish)

Pour the rum and tea into a glass filled with ice and mix well. Add the garnish.

Is it 5 o'clock yet? Give this cocktail a try and let us know what you think. Have a fabulous Friday!

Best,
Marion and Leslie
